Having presented its innovations for the special machinery market, at BAUMA in October, ACTIA is heading to Asia to demonstrate its on-board electronics know-how at the Automotive World Japan exhibition from 25 to 27 January 2023 with the first technological building blocks of itsdigital cockpit and its brand new ACU6 telematics platform in particular.
A market focused on clean and connected vehicles
ACTIA has been active in Japan since 2019, through its subsidiary which has recently relocated to Tokyo. ACTIA is expanding its local network in Japan, while supporting its international customers.
Asia-Pacific is the largest regional market for special machinery, as well as the fastest growing. Along with China and India, Japan is the most technologically advanced regional market, which is creating a need for significant innovation.
The many off-highway manufacturers based in the region are stimulating the market by developing off-road high-performance vehicles:
- Alternative drive systems (electric, hybrid and hydrogen),
- Connected vehicles: with a national objective of autonomous vehicles to be in operation from 2025.
Faced with the scale of the Asia market, ACTIA has a role to play. As a partner of the main manufacturers on the off-highway market, ACTIA offers a strong, connected, and secure electronic architecture that optimises fleet managers’ costs. ACTIA takes into account the ever-more complex functional safety requirements when designing its products and solutions. This is a real asset for the brand and should appeal to Japanese customers at the Automotive World Japan 2023 exhibition.
Full beams on the digital cockpit and vehicle connectivity
ACTIA is presenting its new generation Multic FSX cluster, 8/10/12.8-inch ACTIVISION, as well as its “Digital cockpit” with more intelligent connections due to the ACTiVi monitoring ECU.
The user interface for each device has been refined and developed, enabling more intuitive operation as well as the creation of a robust and easy-to-use communication environment. This solution offers a modern and safe solution that is easy to integrate to improve the driver’s experience.
Having introduced ACU6 Pro Off Highway in Asia last year, in Japan, ACTIA will present all the on-going developments on all of its telematics solutions, as well as a new addition to the ACU6 family called ACU6 lite. This solution is able to offer a complete TCU unit in a smaller box, while remaining modular and flexible.
